Book this service if you already have a physician’s requisition for bloodwork and want your sample collected privately at Bina’s Brossard clinic. If you do not have a requisition, you may book a separate medical consultation at Bina so a physician can assess your needs and issue one when clinically appropriate. Bina collects specimens only for tests listed on the requisition and accepted by the partner laboratory.
Some tests require fasting, collection at a particular time of day or another preparation step. Follow the instructions from the ordering physician or clinic.
Urine collection may require:
Choose this service when a physician has ordered a urine analysis and Bina has confirmed that the requested specimen can be collected or accepted through its partner-laboratory pathway.
The collection appointment does not include:
After collection, blood and urine specimens are labelled, handled securely and transferred to a partner laboratory for analysis. The time needed to complete the analysis depends on the tests ordered. If a Bina physician did not order the tests, a separate medical consultation may be required for interpretation or further care.
Do not use the sample-collection service for a medical emergency or wait for laboratory results if severe or rapidly worsening symptoms require immediate care.
