This appointment assesses one concern involving symptoms that may fit an uncomplicated urinary tract infection, often called a UTI. Symptoms can include burning when urinating, needing to urinate more often or a sudden urge to urinate.
The nurse reviews your symptoms and relevant health information, then follows the clinic’s protocol to determine whether urine testing or a physician assessment is needed.
This option is for women with one urinary concern that meets the clinic’s protocol requirements. The assessment determines whether a nurse-led visit is appropriate for your situation.
This consultation is for routine screening for sexually transmitted infections, or STIs, when you do not have symptoms. The nurse reviews relevant health information and possible exposures to determine which available tests or samples may be appropriate.
Depending on your needs and the tests offered, screening may involve urine, blood or a swab. The assessment guides the selection of tests; there is no single test that screens for every STI.
Choose this option for routine STI screening when you have no symptoms. If you have symptoms, need treatment or are seeking care after a recent exposure, contact the clinic before choosing this appointment.

This appointment is for a recent sore throat that is your only medical concern. The nurse reviews your symptoms and relevant health information, then follows the clinic’s protocol to determine whether a rapid test, other testing or a physician assessment is needed.
Choose this option when your concern is a recent isolated sore throat and your situation meets the clinic’s nurse-led protocol. Recurrent symptoms or additional medical concerns may require a different consultation.
