This appointment is intended for women with one concern involving symptoms that may fit an uncomplicated UTI, such as burning when urinating, frequent urination or a sudden urge to urinate. The nurse will review your symptoms and relevant medical information, then follow the clinic’s protocol to determine whether urine testing or physician assessment is needed.
Contact the clinic before booking if you are pregnant, have fever or chills, back or side pain, nausea or vomiting, visible blood in your urine, or infections that keep returning. These situations may require a Medical Consultation.
This appointment is intended for routine STI screening when you do not have symptoms. The nurse will review relevant health information and possible exposures, then follow the clinic’s protocol to determine which available tests or samples may be appropriate. Testing may involve urine, blood or a swab, depending on your needs and what the clinic offers.
Contact the clinic before booking if you have unusual discharge, genital sores, pelvic or testicular pain, unusual bleeding, or need care following a recent exposure. Symptoms, treatment or positive results may require a Medical Consultation.
This appointment is intended for a recent sore throat that is your only medical concern. The nurse will review your symptoms and relevant medical information, then follow the clinic’s protocol to determine whether a rapid test, other testing or physician assessment is needed.
Contact the clinic before booking if you have significant throat or neck swelling, repeated vomiting, difficulty drinking, symptoms that are getting worse quickly, a sore throat that keeps returning, or another medical concern. Testing and physician assessment are charged separately when applicable.
The visit is led by a nurse under medical supervision. A doctor is not automatically included, but physician assessment may be arranged when needed. Nurse-led consultations are limited to one eligible concern that matches one of the three appointment options. They are not intended for several concerns, ongoing medical management, annual health reviews, forms or procedures that require another service.
Call 514-307-0111 if you are unsure which appointment to choose. For difficulty breathing, inability to swallow saliva, loss of consciousness or potentially life-threatening symptoms, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
