Book this appointment when results ordered at Bina require medical interpretation, a discussion about diagnosis or treatment, a prescription decision, a referral or a plan for additional testing.
The physician reviews the results in the context of the original consultation, explains their significance, answers questions directly related to those results and recommends the next steps.
This appointment is limited to the results and the concern already assessed. If you would like a more general follow-up consultation, it must be booked separately.
This option is available only for results the Bina care team has determined are appropriate for nursing follow-up.
The nurse may review the communicated result, provide education, answer questions within the nursing scope of practice and explain the next step already established in your care plan.
If a new medical decision, prescription change, diagnosis or physician assessment is required, you will be directed to the physician follow-up. Eligibility depends on the nature of the results and is not based only on patient preference.
Follow-up for results ordered as part of the Preventative Health Review is included. You do not need to pay for a separate appointment to review these results.
The care team will determine the appropriate follow-up method based on the findings and will advise whether your results should be reviewed with a physician or nurse.
If you would like to discuss other symptoms, your general health or a concern that is not directly related to the results, a Medical Consultation must be booked separately.
Book a separate Medical Consultation if you want to follow up on your symptoms, medical condition, response to treatment or medications. A separate consultation is also required for any new or unrelated concern, or for results ordered outside Bina.
For results related to ADHD, medical weight management, menopause, andropause, complex dermatology or another specialty program, book the appropriate specialty follow-up.
Laboratory, imaging, pathology, sample collection and procedure fees are not included. For severe or potentially life-threatening symptoms, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.
