Answers to the questions our guests ask most — from booking to your visit, explained with care.
Yes. When clinically appropriate, Dr. Lalavi may recommend further testing, diagnostic investigations, or referral to another healthcare professional or specialist based on the patient's needs. The next step depends on the concern being assessed and the findings from the consultation.
Many follow-up appointments can be provided by telemedicine when a physical examination, diagnostic test, or in-person procedure is not required. Whether a follow-up can be completed virtually depends on the reason for the appointment and what is clinically appropriate.
Yes. In addition to focused consultations, Dr. Lalavi provides family medicine and follow-up care at Bina. Depending on the patient's needs, this can include ongoing medical care, review of results, monitoring of health concerns, prescription management when appropriate, and follow-up after previous consultations.
Dr. Lalavi has completed additional training through Harvard Medical School in areas including obesity treatment, women's health and menopause, sports medicine, psychopharmacology, and other fields of clinical medicine.
Dr. Kourosh Lalavi is a family physician and co-founder of Bina Medical Clinic. He graduated from McGill University's Faculty of Medicine and completed his family medicine training at the Goldman Herzl Family Medicine Centre. At Bina, Dr. Lalavi provides family medicine and ongoing medical care, while also working in focused areas including preventive medicine, weight management, mental health and ADHD, women's health and hormone therapy, men's health and andropause, and medical dermatology.
An ADHD consultation with Dr. Lalavi is a structured medical clinical assessment that may include a review of symptoms and medical history, targeted questionnaires where relevant, discussion of a probable diagnosis, and a treatment plan when clinically appropriate. It does not replace a full neuropsychological assessment, specialized psychiatric care, or psychotherapy when those services are required.
