The consultation may cover:
Choose this consultation for symptoms or concerns that may require an assessment for testosterone deficiency, sometimes described as andropause. These may include reduced sexual desire, changes in erections, persistent fatigue, sleep changes, mood or concentration concerns, or changes in strength and body composition. A diagnosis or prescription is not guaranteed. The visit may begin by telemedicine when suitable, but bloodwork, measurements or an in-person examination may be required before a treatment decision is made. Medication, laboratory analysis, sample collection and separately booked services may have additional fees.
The follow-up may include:
Ongoing medical monitoring may be needed to assess safety, response and suitability. Book this follow-up after an initial andropause assessment or when Dr Kourosh Lalavi has asked to review your results or progress. If you have not completed an initial assessment or do not have an established care plan with Bina, book the initial consultation instead. Many follow-ups can be completed by telemedicine across Québec.
The physician may review:
Choose this consultation for a focused assessment of erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, reduced sexual desire or another concern affecting sexual function. The discussion is confidential and centred on the concern you want assessed. A prescription is not guaranteed and depends on the medical assessment. This appointment does not include STI screening, fertility assessment, procedures or specialist urology care. These services must be booked or arranged separately when required.
The assessment may include:
Choose this consultation for gradual thinning that may be consistent with male-pattern hair loss, including a receding hairline or thinning at the crown. The physician reviews the pattern and progression of hair loss before discussing suitable next steps. Male-pattern hair loss is not the only cause of hair loss. Sudden shedding, patchy loss, scarring, scalp inflammation or hair loss associated with other symptoms may require an in-person examination or a different medical service. A virtual consultation may be suitable initially, but an in-person scalp examination may be required before a diagnosis or treatment decision.
