The consultation may cover:

  • Benefits, risks and limitations of available options
  • Factors that may affect whether hormone therapy is appropriate
  • Hormonal and non-hormonal approaches when clinically relevant
  • Testing, monitoring and follow-up needs

For an initial consultation, the physician reviews symptoms such as hot flashes, night sweats, sleep changes, mood changes, concentration concerns or vaginal and urinary symptoms. The discussion also considers medical and family history, current medications, previous treatment, relevant results and your priorities.

Hormone therapy is not automatically prescribed. A follow-up is available to review progress, treatment response, side effects, results and possible adjustments. Bloodwork, medication and separately booked services are not included. Telemedicine may be appropriate, but an in-person assessment may be required.

The physician may review:

  • Menstrual and symptom history
  • Current medications and previous treatment
  • Available laboratory or imaging results
  • Pregnancy and reproductive goals when relevant
  • Factors that may require additional investigation

Choose this consultation for an existing PCOS diagnosis or concerns that may require assessment, such as irregular or absent periods, acne, unwanted hair growth, scalp hair changes, or metabolic and weight-related concerns.

PCOS can affect menstrual, reproductive and metabolic health differently from one person to another. The visit may lead to discussion of a possible diagnosis, symptom management, further testing, follow-up or referral when clinically appropriate. A diagnosis or prescription is not guaranteed during one appointment.

The consultation may include:

  • Comparison of suitable contraceptive options
  • Discussion of expected use, benefits and limitations
  • Review of side effects, precautions and medical considerations
  • A prescription when clinically appropriate
  • Planning for an IUD or Nexplanon procedure when selected

Choose this consultation when you want to begin, change, renew or discuss a contraceptive method. The physician reviews your health history, current medications, menstrual or bleeding pattern, previous experience, priorities and factors that may affect which options are appropriate.

A prescription is not guaranteed and depends on the medical assessment. IUD and Nexplanon insertion or removal are separate in-person services. For an insertion, the device must be obtained and brought to the appointment according to Bina’s procedure instructions.

During the appointment:

  • The purpose and limits of screening are explained
  • Relevant medical and screening history is reviewed
  • A cervical sample is collected when appropriate
  • Next steps and result communication are discussed

Choose this in-person appointment for cervical cancer screening at Bina’s Brossard clinic. The physician reviews your previous screening history, relevant results and current eligibility before determining whether a Pap test, HPV test or another follow-up pathway is appropriate.

Test availability and the recommended pathway can depend on the region, age, previous results and individual risk factors. This is a screening appointment and not a complete assessment of new gynecological symptoms. Laboratory or pathology fees may be charged separately. An abnormal result may require a separate consultation, repeat testing or referral. This service cannot be completed by telemedicine.
