South Shore patients who need spirometry for asthma, COPD or respiratory follow-up, quickly and privately.
Lung function testing using Spirobank II SMART Spirometer measuring lung capacity and airflow. Used for shortness of breath, persistent cough, wheezing, asthma, COPD, or reduced exercise tolerance. Test can be done with prescription/requisition; if no requisition, physician consultation can be booked for possible requisition and interpretation.
No specific exclusions. The medical consultation, and any lab-analysis or pathology fees, are billed separately where applicable. This service does not replace emergency care.
Avoid heavy meals, smoking and vigorous exercise shortly before, and wear loose clothing. If you use inhalers, the clinic will tell you whether to hold them beforehand.
Spirometry measures how much and how fast you can breathe out, helping assess lung function. The appointment takes about 30–45 minutes depending on the option.
Screening spirometry (CA$99) is a baseline test; the pre- and post-bronchodilator option (CA$199) repeats the test after a bronchodilator for a fuller assessment.

Follow-up care for individuals and families—chronic condition monitoring, pediatrics, results review, and prescription renewals when appropriate. In-person visits with telemedicine available for select concerns when clinically appropriate.
